Summary
This project aims to deliver priority actions in Angola’s National Ivory Action Plan and National Elephant Action Plan, by doing the following:
• Strengthening criminal justice system for wildlife crime.
• Investigating, analysing and reducing domestic and trans-boundary ivory trade.
• Development of sustainable alternative livelihoods for ivory traders.

Over 600 arrests and more than 500 convictions in wildlife crime since 2017, alongside a decline in ivory trafficking cases and an increase in elephant and rhino populations.
