Defra is committed to robust and proportionate risk management across the IWT Challenge Fund. Effective risk management supports informed decision-making, efficient use of resources and successful project delivery. Projects should identify, assess, and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, with clear ownership, appropriate mitigation measures and timely escalation where required.
