Summary
The follow-the-money (FTM) investigation technique is an underused but very effective method to interrupt environmental crime syndicates. The project will boost FTM capacity by a) providing FTM training and multi- year embedded mentoring support to law enforcement partners in five countries and b) creating networks of FTM Experts and Advisors from the five core and up to five additional countries (including other DEFRA grantees) to scale up these engagements and generate surge capacity for the disruption of environmental crime syndicates.
