A new IWT Challenge Fund round is almost here.

With just under one week to go, organisations will soon be able to apply for funding through Round 12 of the Illegal Wildlife Trade (IWT) Challenge Fund.

Applications will open on 30 September 2026, with full guidance, eligibility information, and application materials published on the same day.

As the fund enters its next phase, Round 12 will include several important updates shaped by more than a decade of delivery and learning. These changes are designed to strengthen impact, support effective partnerships, and ensure funding reaches where it can make the greatest difference.
